Yost Grube Hall Architecture (YGH Architecture)
YGH has been providing integrated architecture, interior design, and planning services to public and private clients worldwide since our founding in 1964. From our single Portland office, we have delivered projects throughout the United States as well as on nearly every continent in the world. While this work is diverse, ranging from corporate headquarters and commercial facilities to university buildings, recreation
centers, and housing developments, our projects share a unifying theme: design that is in harmony with the community setting, client values, and user needs. This mission has fueled our firm’s body of design work, which has included extensive collaborations with Northwest pioneer of modernism Pietro Belluschi and inspired wood sculptor Leroy Setziol. This same mission has taken us from the banks of the Columbia to the
Andean foothills of Ecuador, the sands of Nevis, the Kazakh steppe, and tropical Rangoon. Our past has greatly shaped who we are as a company and the projects that we currently work on. As we step into the next generation of leadership we will continue to hold these ideals and legacies close to us.
