Two penthouses of the modern villa placed in Blaricum have been flooded with natural light. Thanks to large glazing units the inhabitants can enjoy the view of the picturesque Blaricum, municipality and village in the province of North Holland.
Villa consists of 12 apartments and 2 spacious penthouses on 4 floors. The complex looks very natural, chic and timeless and is fitted with products that meet high demands in durability, insulation and comfort in use. From the start FAKRO was closely involved in the development of the windows and connections. The challenge was to make the outside look like as if the entire frame/glass is the same and thus colours and connections should fit tightly together.
Two penthouses have been fitted with FDY windows to maximize light inside the rooms and give the home owners maximum views to the outside, thus the windows have been placed low at the floor level, which is a big advantage of the FDY windows. The windows have been fitted with special XVB modules including BUVA ventilation to meet the high demands for ventilation and noise reduction.
The roof windows have been especially produced with a different RAL colour to meet demands set for the entire building, making it look as an aesthetically complete building with minimal difference in materials and colours. The wooden colour on the inside as well as the aluminium profiles on the outside are produced in RAL 7043, dark grey. This colour has also been used for the other outer frames of the other brands.
