LightArt’s Clear Coil Collection is the commercial lighting industry’s first clear, 3D-printed, 100% recycled pendants. The groundbreaking collection harnesses molecular recycling technology to upcycle discarded materials like clothing and carpet fibers, dense plastic containers, and packaging into beautifully designed, long-lasting, clear light fixtures.

Dubbed the M series for “molecular,” the collection features six pendant shapes that complement any design aesthetic. The angles of the M1, M2, and M3 pendants emphasize the material’s clarity and light refraction. The M4, M5, and M6 pendants come in two sizes. The M4's cylindrical shape is reminiscent of a ceramic bottle, while six faceted sides create the M5’s hexagonal shape. Inspired by contoured forms found in nature, like raindrops and beehives, the M6 has an elongated silhouette.

The molecular recycling process at the heart of the Clear Coil Collection breaks plastics down into molecular components that are used to create new materials. Compared to the traditional mechanical recycling process, which is limited to specific sources of plastic waste that can be recycled a finite number of times, molecular recycling can break down a much broader range of waste an infinite number of times. By integrating this technology into their manufacturing process, LightArt can increase the recycled content used in their materials without compromising aesthetic value or quality. As a result, the company reduces waste destined for landfills while decreasing the production of more plastics from newly extracted fossil fuels.

Whether used individually or grouped in clusters, Clear Coil pendants are suitable for adding visual intrigue to various environments—from commercial spaces to healthcare settings. The larger M4, M5, and M6 pendants are well-suited for spaces with high ceilings. The pendants are assembled with a PVC-free cord and are finished with TGIC-free powder-coated hardware. The M1, M2, and M3 are available with a socketed E26 base or LightArt’s Performance Lighting Core. The M4, M5, and M6 come equipped with the Performance Lighting Core.
