Atelier Ping Jiang | EID Arch is a leading international practice for architecture and urbanism. Led by Founding Principal Ping Jiang, FAIA, who established the Shanghai based practice in 2015, the firm strives to provide environmentally sensitive and innovative design solutions for architecture and urban environment. The practice is founded on the belief that architecture should concern itself with the environment, and is deeply committed to design excellence, innovation and sustainability. The firm has extensive experience in a wide range of building types, including large scale mixed-use developments, office/corporate, retail, hospitality, cultural/civic, institutional and residential uses.

The practice aims to address the ever-changing urban conditions in China and beyond, confronting the challenges of complex urban realities with an impressive body of work across typologies and scales, such as high-density urban development, urban regeneration, along with civic, cultural and institutional projects. Seeking to adopt a holistic approach to architecture, landscape and urbanism, Ping Jiang’s practice explores and integrates design innovation that is environmentally responsive, focusing on human experience, open and inclusive public spaces, mobility and connectivity of urban environment.

Atelier Ping Jiang’s work has been awarded numerous international awards, including multiple AIA Design Awards, The Plan, Architecture Review Future Awards, WAF Awards, etc. The firm’s work has been published in architectural journals internationally. i.e. Architectural Review, Domus, The Plan, DETAIL, Canadian Architect, Architectural Digest. In 2021, Ping Jiang was named to AD 100 as one of the 100 most influential designers working in China. Atelier Ping Jiang | EID Arch has been recognized as the emerging practice of the year by World Architecture News. The practice received AIA International Firm Award in 2022.
